Three music legends of the country, Syed Abdul Hadi, Rafiqul Alam and Abida Sultana have engaged as the advisers with the upcoming country’s first classified FM radio, Radio Amber 102.4, says a press release. In this regard, an agreement has been signed between Radio Amber and three veteran singers at its Gulshan office in the city on Sunday. Radio Amber chief executive officer Aminul Hakim, Director (Marketing) M. Akhteruzzaman and Director (Program) Nawsheen Nahreen Mou were, among others, present in the signing ceremony.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Nawsheen said, “We have designed the programmes of our radio station considering the choice of audience who are above forty and we will broadcast the popular songs from 60’s to 90’s. Apart from this, we will try to introduce the old songs with the audience of the new generation.”
 “The advisers, who have engaged with us, are the legends in the music world and they will help us to enrich our music library”, she added further.
Radio Amber, a new radio station in the country, is set to be inaugurated on September 1, 2016. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu will be present as chief guest in the inaugural ceremony.
