Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) yesterday released video footages of six suspected killers of writer-blogger Avijit Roy, reports UNB. Deputy Commissioner (media) of DMP Masudur Rahman told the news agency that the DMP released five video footages on its official Facebook page at noon recognising six suspected killers of blogger Avijit Roy. The DMP in its Facebook page site sought assistance from the city dwellers to arrest the suspected killers. The DMP has requested the city dwellers to send information of the suspected people in the inbox of its Facebook page or through Hello CT apps if they found any. Avijit Roy, son of former Dhaka University physics professor Ajoy Roy and founder of blog Mukta-Mona, was killed and his wife Rafida Afrin Banya injured as at least two attackers stabbed them near TSC on the Dhaka University campus on February night 26.
