Inspecting Chittagong after Dhaka, the delegation team of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) expressed their satisfaction on the overall situation including security, medical and logistic aspects yesterday.
The delegation first went to Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium at morning just after landing in Chittangong, one of the venues of the upcoming visit of the England cricket team.
Thereafter, they held meeting with the high-ups of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police at the CMP headquarters during their inspection in the port city.
After the meeting, they visited the practice venue, MA Aziz Stadium and hotel Radisson Blu for some periods.
They check out the facilities at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and MA Aziz Stadium and team hotel Radisson Blu alongside other facilities during their inspection in the port city.
Along with ECB director of cricket operations John Carr, its security advisor Reg Dickason and Professional Cricketers’ Association chief executive David Leatherdale, a seven-member BCB team was also with them during the visit. BCB vice president Mahbub Anam, director IH Mollick, CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury, Cricket operation manager Sabbir Ahmed Khan, grounds manager Syed Abdul Baten amongst other were also present.
