Prangane Mor’s new play ‘Bibadi Sargam’ at BSA today

Prominent theatre troupe Prangane Mor is set to stage its brand new play ‘Bibadi Sargam’ at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) at Segun Bagicha in the capital today. This is the 11th production of the troupe. Written and directed by Shishir Rahman and drawn in the light of the anti-British movement, the play is about the attack on Kolkata Writers’ Building by three Bengal heroes-- Binay, Badal and Dinesh.
The probable casts of the play are Ramiz Raju, Mainul Tawheed, Bandhu Tuhin, Rigan Sogah Ratna, Shubheccha Rahman, Sabuktageen Shubho, Litu Roy, Ahmed Sujan, Chaitali Chaiti, Rahul, Niranjan Niru, Sujan Gupta, Preeti, Mahmudul Hasan, Sohag Rahman, Swadhin Arush, Nupur, Mithun, Urmil, Mousumi Mou, Parash and Badhan Sarkar. The troupe has brought out two other new plays this year. On February 12, Prangane Mor brought their new play ‘Ami O Rabindranath’ to the stage, while yet another brand new play titled ‘Condemn Cell’, written by Ananta Hira and directed by Awal Reza, was staged on April 1.
