The train communications of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chittagong resumed yesterday afternoon after five-hour of disruption following the derailment of a freight train at Shayestaganj railway station, reports UNB. Station Master of Shayestaganj railway station Jahangir Alam said a bogie of the Sylhet-bound train from Chittagong veered off the tracks at the outer signal of the station around 12pm, halting train services on the route. On information, a relief train from Akhaura reached the spot and removed the derailed bogie around 4:45pm, Jahangir added.
