Dhaka ready to work together with int’l community : PM

Condemning the terrorist attacks in France and Kuwait on Friday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to stand by the countries fighting against terrorism and work together with the international community to fight the menace, reports UNB.
In separate messages sent to the heads of government of Kuwait and France yesterday, Sheikh Hasina strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in the two countries and expressed her deepest condolences for the losses of lives in those attacks.
In her message to Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al Sabah, Hasina reiterated that Bangladesh denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirm government’s commitment to work together with Kuwait and the world community to fight against this menace.
“I take this opportunity to reiterate that Bangladesh denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirm our government’s commitment to work together with Kuwait and the world community to fight against this menace," she said.
"It is extremely shocking that the bomber snuck into the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque near Kuwait's famous Al-Sawaber district in Sharq at the end of the busy Jumma prayer during the holy month of Ramadan, when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside the mosque," she noted.
In another message to French President Francois Hollande, the PM also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a gas factory in France and said the brutal force of the terrorists must be destroyed completely with the united efforts of civilised humanity.
"I strongly condemn the terrorist attack on a gas factory near the city of Lyon in France where one person was found decapitated and an explosion took place yesterday. This dastardly attack again shows the brutal force of the terrorists that must be destroyed completely with the united efforts of civilised humanity," she said.
