The three-member Indian team, led by an official from Assam forest department’s wildlife circle, Ritesh Bhattacharya, will visit Jhalupara char in Jamalpur today to try and find out a way to rescue the elephant and transport it back home safely. The assistant conservator of forests from the Bangladesh Forest Department, Mohammad Shahabuddin, will accompany the team.
