Muktijoddha blank Brothers

Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra finished the first leg of the JB Bangladesh Premier League Football along with the table toppers when they blanked Brothers Union by 2-0 in the second match at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong yesterday. Muktijoddha earned seven points from three matches with two wins and one draw while Brothers managed two points from as many drawn matches.
Habibur Rahman Shohag and Kolo Musa scored one goal each on the second half of the match to help Muktijoddha to win their second successive win.     
Brothers, who played almost one-sided match till the midway of the second half spoiled at least three open chances including an attempt was shattered the side post when Nkowcha himself squandered an open net, as his shot went wide and another one hit the hit the post.
Muktijoddha got both the goals from counter attacks with Habibur Rahman Shohag scoring one of the most beautiful goals at the MA Aziz Stadium were scored in the last 18 matches of the first leg when a left foot free kick of the forward superbly curved before entering into the net the top corner of the net on 65th.
Kolo Musa, who wasted some good chances in the first half, sealed the victory on 81st minute when Brothers defender failed to clear a free kick of Sohel Rana (2-0).
