Investigators yesterday revealed photos of six among the nine alleged militants who were killed as law enforcers raided their Kalyanpur hideout in the capital early Tuesday. The photos show militants in groups posing inside a house with an IS flag in the background. Investigators suspect that the background of the pictures is the same as of the pictures of Gulshan attackers, which they had sent to the Islamic State's Amaq News Agency and was released by the agency during the attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery on July 1. They said the pictures were found in a pen drive that was seized from the Kalyanpur militant den. Law enforcers suspect that before carrying out a deadly militant attack, the militant would have also sent these pictures to the Amaq News Agency. The militants destroyed most of their electronic devices before they died, so that no secret information could go to the police, said investigators.
