BNP out of national unity for its militant connection: Inu

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal president and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu yesterday said the BNP and its chairperson Khaleda Zia’s name have been left out from the national unity for its connection with militant, Jamaat and war criminals, reports BSS. “All people of the country, except patrons of militants and their allies, are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to fight militancy,” he said, while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion at the Institute of Diploma Engineers auditorium in the capital. Muktijudhher Chetona Manch (Spirit of the Liberation War Platform) organised the anti-militancy and anti-terrorism discussion with its President Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan in the chair.
Sate Minister for Labour and Employment M Mujibul Haque Chunnu, MP, and Dr M Enamur Rahman, MP, also spoke in the programme as special guests, according to a release. The Information Minister said, “Gulshan and Sholakia attack is not an isolated incident, it is related with the 1971, 1975, 21 August, violence of the Hefajat and the arson attacks. Khaleda and BNP are their political allies.”
