Following the terror attacks in a restaurant in the capital’s Gulshan area and Sholakia Eidgah in Kishoreganj, the issue of missing men came to the fore after law enforcers released the photographs of the attackers. Most of those who carried out the two attacks had remained missing for several months before the attacks. Law enforcers then intensified their search for the missing men. As part of the efforts, Rapid Action Battalion published a list of 262 missing people on Tuesday. Of the 262, eleven people are from Feni. Police complaint or general diary had been filed over the missing people.
The people listed as missing are Shawkat Hossain, 18, son of Ruhul Amin, of Shatshthi village in Sadar upazila, Sajjad Hossain Parvez, 35, son of Ashok Elahi, of Nikuja village of Chhagalnaiya upazila, Kazi Mohaibul Islam, 34, son of Kazi Motiul Islam, of Lalpur Kazibari, Omar Faruqe, 25, son of Nurul Amin, of Darmapur village in Fulgazi upazila, Rashed, 25, son of late Abdur Rahman, of Ukilpara in Feni town, Taiful Islam, son of Abdul Latif, of Sathkuchi Parshuram village, Rezaur Rahman Saju, son of Abdur Rob, of Uttar Khanbari in Sadar upazila, Riaz, 21, son of Mizanur Rahman, of Rampur area in Feni town, Forkan Chowdhury, of Shubar Bazaar under Parshuram upazila, Redaunal Haque Azad Rana, son of Abul Kalam Azad, of Joyloskar in Daganbhuiyan upazila, Motaher Hossain, 30, son of late Kuddus of Daulutpur in Feni Sadar upazila.
