Audience-admired actress Dolly Johur has been in Australia since February to spend time with her only son Riasat and his wife Rita. It seemed that their lives were lightened up with the birth of a son, but just after a few hours of his birth, he passed away and experiencing the death of her grandson has left Dolly Johur devastated. No doubt this was a tragedy which is hard to forget. That is why, she is still spending time with her son and his wife. Today is her birthday and she will spend it with them in a quiet manner with no celebrations.
Dolly Johur said, “I ask for everyone’s prayers for my son and daughter-in-law.”
Prior to leaving for Australia, Dolly Johur completed the work for the drama serials  ‘Noashal’ directed by Mir Sabbir, Al Hajen-directed ‘Alaspur’, Kaiser Ahmed-directed ‘Sahajatri’ and also the work for a new drama serial directed by Ranjit Sarkar.
Dolly Johur married actor Jaharul Islam in 1976 and after nine years of their marriage they were blessed with Riasat. She lost her husband in 2006 and ever since, through the pain of losing a loved one, she worked hard so that she could properly raise her son.
