A promising Afnan Mahmud Mahi of Bangladesh earned the distinction of becoming runner-up in the boy’s 16 to 18 age category of Florida Junior Amateur Golf Tournament at the World Golf Village in Florida, United States on Tuesday.
Mahi, who has already established his name in the junior circuit of the of the country, took part in the amateur tournament with his own interest. He scored one-over-par 146 in the two-round tournament.
Probably the outcome of Florida Junior Golf would encourage Mahi to do fare well in another tournament in USA. He is now preparing under the world famous coach Team Barnet of US, will take part in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour from July 18 in Florida before returning home.
