Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon yesterday said the civil aviation authorities have tightened security at all airports of the country after the two terror attacks in Gulshan and Sholakia, reports UNB. The minister said this at a press briefing after a meeting with Civil Aviation officials at Kurmitola in the morning. “These attacks are the part of global conspiracy against our country to brand it as a ‘militant state’. They’ll be successful if proper measures are not taken in time. So, we’re taking measures to root out militants from the country,” he said. He urged all to be more cautious about what is happening around us. Menon said the attackers who participated in the Gulhsan and Sholakia attacks belong to highly educated families.
