The Sustainable Development Club of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organised a vital seminar on “Emergency Situation and Skill Development” on June 6 at its Dhanmondi Campus, in the capital, says a press release.
The seminar was basically about to teach the students and the members of ULAB Sustainable Development Club about how they can improve and imply their professional skill in order to build a better career. It was also focused on the emergency action before and after of a devastating earthquake. The main speaker and the chief guest of the seminar was Tarif Mohammed Khan, Assistant Manager, Business Development of AD Plus.
The first part of the seminar is “Skill Development” which emphasizes on the importance of club activities inside and outside of the University in order to focus deeply on career. The vital objective of this part is to gain knowledge to improve inter-personal skills in order to get success. The vision set up for the career basically depends on employability skills which are the set of skills one needs to know for success and sustainable growth in career. The students were cheered up by getting the knowledge of employability skills including leadership skills to lead a team and get successful feedbacks, interpersonal skills to represent themselves more delight and more organised, communication skills to communicate properly and clearly to handle any kind of aspects, presentation and IT skills to share and imply their outlook of knowledge by using public speaking and technological talents.
By evaluating the seminar outcome the students got motivation and wished to think positive, will apply their gained knowledge for logical planning and select to go on with their own passions.
