With his music career spanning 56 years, National Film Award and Ekushey Padak winning popular singer has gifted his audience with some of the most memorable songs, that have been heard in films as well as patriotic songs.  Even though most of his songs have been featured in films, he also has a large number of modern songs. Out of those, 45 songs have been remade. That is, Syed Abdul Hadi has performed the songs with a new musical arrangement. DhakaLive has news that the work surrounding the remake has been completed and the songs will soon be released under the banner of Bangladhol.
Yesterday (July 1) was also the 75th birthday of the veteran singer. He informed that he spent his birthday with his family. Even though he usually does not make elaborate birthday plans, because of his well wishers, the opportunity to not do anything is hardly there. On his special day, he appeared on various television channels and several well wishers and supporters came over to his house in the evening to wish him on his special day.
Regarding his special day, Syed Abdul Hadi said, “I have never thought about getting something or not getting something. I am extremely fortunate and blessed that I have gotten the love of the people from my singing. This is my greatest gift. I always aimed at singing songs of great quality. That is what I always focused on throughout my journey.”
He also informed that he has a wish to write an autobiography, A lot of people have come forward for a manuscript. Syed Abdul Hadi’s some of the most notable songs are ‘Jeyo Na Shathi’, ‘Chokkher Nojore Emni Koyra’, ‘Ekbar Jodi Keow Bhalobasto’, ‘Chole Jai Jodi Keow’, ‘Jonmo Theke Jolchi’, ‘Surjodaye Tumi, Surjaste Tumi’, among others. l
