The home ministry has transferred 13 police officers as part of the ongoing reshuffle in the police administration. The home ministry yesterday issued a circular in this regard, which would come into effect from July 10. Mainul Hassan, additional police commissioner, was transferred to Sylhet Metropo-litan Police (SMP) with the same rank. Sanjoy Kumar Kundo, deputy commissioner (DC) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP), was posted as superintendent of police (SP) of Tourist Police, Dhaka, while CMP DC Kamrul Ameen made DC of Barisal Metropolitan Police. Sarwar Murshed Shameem, SP of Sarda Police Academy, was posted as SMP DC, while additional SP of Brahmanbaria MA Masud, recently promoted to SP, was made Commandant of the Range Reserve Force in Chittagong. Additional SP of Narayanganj Mukhlesur Rahman has been posted as CMP DC.  SM Mostain Hossain, additional SP of Kishoreganj recently promoted to SP, has been posted as CMP DC.
Additional SP of the second Armed Police Battalion (APBN) in Muktagacha Abu Hena Khandaker Ahidul Karim, recently promoted to SP, has been posted as SP of DIG range in Khulna. Nowrose Hassan Talukder, SP of Tourist Police, Dhaka, was made SP of PBI in Dhaka.  DC (current charge) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Abul Bashar Talukder was made SP (current charge) of DIG Range, Dhaka. SP of Industrial Police in Dhaka Abul Khayer has been made SP of BPA in Sarda, while Mukter Hossain, deputy police commissioner of CMP, has been posted as SP of Bhola. Additional DC of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Maruf Hossan has made deputy police commissioner of CMP.
