After the recovery of arms and ammunition, police now retrieved three bags containing huge electronic devices, including Improvised Explosive Device (IED), from a canal in Solohati area at Uttara Sector-16 in the city yesterday, reports UNB. Earlier on June 18, police recovered 97 foreign-made pistols and huge ammunition, magazines and 10 bayonets from another canal in the same area. Informed by locals, a team from Toragh police station went to the spot and recovered the three floating travel bags from the canal, officer-in-charge of Toragh Police Station Mahbube Khoda told UNB. After searching the bags, police recovered five walkie-talkie sets, 55 IED (long), 270 IED (short) and two repeaters (antenna), the OC said.
