Keraniganj: A construction worker died from electrocution in Taopatti area under Dakkhin Keraniganj thana early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Billal, 20, son of Abul Kashem, a resident of Imambari Nayem Colony of Dakkhin Keraniganj.
Zinnat Ansari, officer-in-charge of Dakkhin Keraniganj Model Police Station, said Billal was electrocuted as a rod fell down on an electric wire while he was working in an under-construction building in the area around 2am and died on the spot.
