MEHERPUR: A farmer died from snakebite at Dhankhola village under Gangni upazila of the district on Saturday evening, reports BSS.
The victim was identified as Monirul Islam Mono, 50, of the village.
Local sources said a poisonous snake bit Monirul while he was going to chili field. He died on the way to Gangni upazila health complex.
