Taba Tani, an immensely popular pop singer from the 80s and 90s, has recently performed for a TV programme after a long time. DhakaLive has news that the singer will be seen performing in a TV show titled ‘Pop Rhythm’ on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
At the show, Saba Tani will speak about the inclusion of female vocals into the country’s pop and band music, their experience, challenge, plan, problem-facility and others. Besides, she will also perform in the programme.
Alongside Saba Tani, popular singers of the present generation Mehreen, Alif Alauddin and Roma have participated in the show. Besides having adda, all the singers performed two of their popular songs each.
Anchored by Dinat Jahan Munni and produced by Khairul Babui, ‘Pop Rhythm’ will be aired on Banglavision TV as a part of the Eid programmes.
To note, Saba Tani performed last time in a programme titled ‘Call-er Gaan’ on Desh TV two years ago. Before that, she worked as a judge in the selection round (Sylhet zone) of musical reality show ‘Close-up 1: Tomakei Khujchhe Bangladesh’ in 2012. l
