Popular musician Shafin Ahmed, who has enthralled and mesmerised the music aficionados of the country with his musical talents, is now all set to entertain and enthral his fans once again. But this time, it will not be on stage, rather, on the screen. Shafin Ahmed will appear on the small screen as an actor this Eid as he will appear in a six-episode tele-drama titled ‘Rhythm of Life’ from Eid day. The tele-drama has been written by Ahmed Tahsin Shams and directed by Farhad Ahmed. Grameenphone Ltd and Alpha-Eye Media Productions Ltd are jointly in charge of the production of the drama. Ironically, he will be playing a musician and the lead role. Audience-admired model-actress Suzana will play the other prominent role. The narrative of the drama portrays the relentless struggle a musician faces and how he triumphs over them in order to establish his career. Shafin stated that he was approached numerous times before to act in the TV screen but he did not comply since he preferred to be seen as a singer as opposed to an actor. But this time he agreed because the role seemed to suit him perfectly. Co-actress Suzana felt ecstatic about being able to work with Shafin Ahmed who also happens to be among her favourite musicians. Director Farhad Ahmed stated that the whole team is going through tremendous hard work.Scriptwriter Ahmed Tahsin Shams opined that the story has multiple twists and turns that will captivate the viewers. Shahriar Shakil, the head honcho of Alpha-Eye Media Productions Ltd expressed excitement over the drama, stating that they have done everything necessary to present a realistic drama. ‘Rhythm of Life’ will be aired on Maasranga TV during Eid.
