Police recovered the body of a trader from a jute field at Kushkhali village in sadar upazila yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossen, 45, of the village. Sheikh Emdad Sheikh, OC of sadar police, said the local people saw the body with mark of injuries lying in the field. Police recovered the body at around 10am and sent it to hospital morgue. Kushkhali UP chairman Abu Raihan said Alamgir was involved in mango trading. He went out of his house for Tarabi prayers on Saturday night and never came back home.
