CHITTAGONG: Three people were killed in separate incidents in Chittagong city early yesterday. The deceasd were identified as Rafique, 50, manager of Hotel Al Hanan Foyez and saloon staff Mobin, 25 of Alkaron area in the city. The injured was Hotel staff Anowar. Jashim Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kotwali police station, said Rafique, 50, manager of a Hotel Al Hanan Foyez, had been working in the organization for four years. The injured Anwar is a staff of the hotel. Rafique was stabbed to death and another staff Anwar was injured by their newly appointed coworker Sanjoy Thripura in the area early Friday. Later, Sanjay also looted Tk 50,000 from the restaurant’s cash box and went into hiding, said police sources quoting the Hotel Owner. Meanwhile, Mobin, a barber was killed when a customer named Jashim stabbed him with a sharp weapon at a salon around 12:30 am over a trifling matter. Local people caught Jashim and handed him over to police. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. On the other hand, Liakat Hossain, received head injury early yesterday, when truck crashed him with an electric pole after the driver lost control over its steering.
