Bangladesh Film Archive yesterday celebrated its 38th founding anniversary in a befitting manner. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu inaugurated the programme by cutting a ribbon and releasing balloons at 10am on the Public Library premises in Shahbag. Then, a discussion programme held at Shawkat Osman Memorial Auditorium, where producer Nasir Uddin Dilu, actor Faruk, filmmaker Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, among others, delivered speeches.
Presided over by Bangladesh Film Archive director general Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, Information Secretary Mortuza Ahmed attended the programme as chief guest.
