Mumbai beat Bangalore in IPL

Kieron Pollard and Jos Buttler put up an unbeaten 55-run stand off 22 balls to power Mumbai Indians to a six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in their Indian Premier League clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru yesterday, reports Times of India.
With this victory, Mumbai rose to the fourth spot in the points table, while Bangalore remain on the sixth position.
Pollard's unbeaten 35 came off 19 balls and was studded with two sixes and three fours, while Buttler remained undefeated, after an 11-ball 29 slamming three sixes and a four, as Mumbai chased down the 152-run target in 18.4 overs.
Put in to bat, Bangalore got off to a woeful start losing their captain Virat Kohli (7) on the first ball of the second over. Chris Gayle registered another failure on his comeback scoring just five runs. De Villiers added 43 runs with Rahul for the third wicket, hitting a six and a four in his 27-ball 24 before succumbing to Krunal Pandya.
