Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) clinched the Walton  9th National Women Kabaddi Champion-ship beating Bangladesh Ansar by one (13-12) point in a fairly contested final at the kabaddi stadium yesterday in the capital.
Earlier Jamalpur DSA defeated Rajshahi DSA 23-14 to bag the third place.
Both BJMC and Ansar won their respective semifinal matches by convincing margins.  BJMC trounced Rajshahi DSA 58-9, while Ansar outplayed Jamalpur DSA 59-23 in the two semifinals.
IGP AKM Shahidul Haque, president of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, distributed prizes as chief guest.
