National Film Award winning director Redoan Rony’s second film ‘Ice-Cream’, starring newbie Nazifa Tushi, is going to hit a number of 21 cinemas across the country today, including the city’s Basundhara Star Cineplex, Jamuna Block Buster, Balaka Cine World, Shyamoli Cinema Hall, Abhisar, Raajmoni and Azad Hall. On the occasion of releasing the film, a special premiere show was held yesterday at the city’s Basundhara Star Cineplex. Unique arrangements were made for the guests and journalists at the premiere show. An example of this was that the guests were served ice cream at the programme. In the film ‘Ice-Cream’, Redoan Rony has introduced three new faces named Nazifa Tushi, Raj and Uday, who will be seen in three lead roles. Alongside these three, ATM Shamsuzzaman, Omar Sani, late actress Parveen Sultana Diti, and late young actor Sayem Sadat, who passed away recently only a week after his wedding, will be seen, among others, in different roles. It is mentioned in the latest trailer of the film that the team has dedicated the movie to the late media personality Parveen Sultana Diti and young actor Sayem Sadat. Produced by Shukla Banik under the banner of Ping Pong Entertainment, the film ‘Ice-Cream’ has been made based on a romantic story for the present time’s young generation.
