Salahuddin led panel reveals manifesto for upcoming polls

Led by Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin, the ‘Combined Panel’ (Sommilito Parishad) revealed their 25-point election manifesto at Hotel Purbani  in the capital yesterday. Tarafdar Ruhul Amin, chief coordinator of Combined Panel, read out the manifesto for the upcoming elections of Bangladesh Football Federation. The manifesto   which containing the pledges of the panel to be implemented during the next tenure of  BFF for the development of the country’s football.
In their 25 points manifesto the important points were, in a bid to produce adequate players from the pipeline the football academy will turn into a an international standard where from quality footballers will be produced, BFF will form a monitor cell, who will look after the District Football Association to organise competitive local  league regularly, with sponsorship of domestic and international sponsors 150 booters of 10 to 11 years old will be picked up for higher training and from them, 40 young players will be sent to abroad where they would be trained and will get higher education, will build up as a quality booters, later on they will play in Bangladesh and different countries.  
Every District Football Association (DFA) will be provided with enough financial support to run their activities, train players and build football coaching centre.
Necessary steps will be taken to install football turf in every division with the assistance from FIFA.
Among their important proposals were to resume the Sher-e Bangla National Football Championship and the Suhrawradi Under-19 national football tournament, Club Cup tournament, to hold Bangabandhu Gold Cup and Sheikh Kamal Gold Cup International Football tournament regularly.
To organise the franchise football league with the participation of eight divisions and the involvement of foreign players and the divisional stadiums will be built up at international standard.
In the occasion at a local hotel, apart from Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin, Kazi Nabil Ahmed almost all the panel members including senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedi, who is set to be elected unopposed following the withdrawal of other three candidates who earlier bought and filed nomination papers for the post.
Later, all candidates led by Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin moved around all clubs located in Motijheel to seek votes in favour of Combined Panel.
