A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) sentenced three fake dentists to one year imprisonment each soon after their arrest from the capital's Adabar area yesterday.
Talking to The Independent, RAB-2 director Lt Col SM Masud Rana said the arrestees were identified as   Shafiullah Khan, 45, Tariqul Islam, 40 and Rasheduzzaman, 48.
Executive Magistrate Md Anisur Rahman of the mobile court also fined Tk one lakh each and in default they will have to suffer one more month in jail, said Lt Col Rana
A team of RAB-2 arrested Shafiullah from Khan Medicine Corner at Baitul Aman Housing, Tariqul from Joy Pharmacy at Sunibir Housing and Raseduzzaman from Nahid Dental Surgery at Adabar yesterday.
