On the occasion of Pahela Baishakh, Joya Ahsan-starrer new film titled ‘Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini-2’ has been released in countrywide cinemas last Friday. Popular actor Shakib Khan has acted opposite her in the film. Produced by Friends Movies International, the story of the film is about cricket. Safi Iqbal has directed the film with the story written by Rumman Rashid Khan. Joya has enacted the character of a famous model in the film. Besides, Shakib Khan has played the role of a cricketer for the first time. Other casts of the film include Omar Sani, Emon, Mousumi Hamid, Sadek Bacchu, Shahidul Alam Sacchu, Shirin Bokul and others. Adding more surprises to the film, celebrated singer Asif Akbar, former captain of national cricket team Habibul Bashar Sumon and journalist JE Mamun will be seen appearing on the big screen for the first time. Most of the songs of the film are written by National Film Award winning lyricist Kabir Bokul, while Shawkat Ali Emon has directed the music.
