A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan over a family feud at Nizampur village of the district on Wednesday morning, reports UNB. The deceased was Sima Rani Das, 37, wife of Nirmal Chandra Das, a resident of Nizampur village. Officer-in-charge of Fenchuganj Police Station Nandan Kanti Dhar said Sima killed herself by hanging herself with the ceiling fan over a family feud around 9am. On information, police rushed in and recovered the body around 1pm and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, the OC added.
