NILPHAMARI: Expanded cultivation and consumption of the zinc-enriched BRRI dhan64 rice can prevent deficiency of zinc, iron and vitamin-A of the children to ensure their normal growth increasing disease resistant capacity, reports BSS. Agriculture experts made the opinion at a farmers’ training course organised by RDRS Bangladesh on ‘Zinc Rice Varieties and Benefits of Zinc’ at the Hall Room of its Syedpur Office in Syedpur upazila town of Nilphamari district on Wednesday.
