Madaripur: Fed up with his unruly life and vulgar behaviour, younger brother of a drug addict young man allegedly stabbed him to death at Mostafapur village in Sadar upazila on Monday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Emon Mattabbar, son of Idris Mattabor, a resident of the village.
Ziaul Morshed, officer-in charge of Sadar Police Station, said Emon returned home in the evening after taking drugs and started to show offensive behaviour.
Following this, his younger brother stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
He was first taken to Madaripur Sadar Health Complex and later as his condition deteriorated he was rushed to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
Emon died on his way to the hospital.
On the other hand, locals alleged Emon was stabbed to death by his mother Masuma Begum.
