Two officers-in-charge of Rampal and Morelganj police stations and a sub-inspector were closed to the district police headquarters, following an order of the Election Commission, reports UNB.
The police personnel are—Rashedul Islam and Mahbub Alam, OC and SI of Morelganj police station respectively, and M Rafiqul Islam, OC of Rampal police station.
Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat district M Nizamul Hoque Mollah said they took the decision after the EC asked them to remove the three policemen from their respective offices and appoint new officials there.
