A mobile court fined a marriage registrar Tk 50,000 for arranging marriage of an underage girl in Damurhuda upazila of the district on Wednesday. It is alleged that marriage register Samsul Alam arranged a marriage ceremony of an underage girl with a youth on the second floor of his residence on Wednesday. On information Damurhuda upazila nirbahi officer rushed to the spot and punished the registrar.
