ATM Shamsuzzaman in new film ‘Bhramar’

Ekushey Padak-winner veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman is working in a new film titled ‘Bhramar’ as the film’s story--written by Sohel Arman--has fascinated him enough to take the offer. Usually, he does not work in any film that requires him to stay outside Dhaka in this stage of life, unless the film’s story can draw his attention. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the film is currently underway in Jaintapur of Sylhet. ATM Shamsuzzaman is playing as the maternal grandfather of the heroine. Actress Mugdhota is in the role of the heroine, while Elora Gawher is playing as the daughter of ATM Shamsuzzaman in the film. ATM Shamsuzzaman and Elora Gawher were seen appearing together in Nabil Asharaf’s film ‘Rangdhanu’ last time.
ATM Shamsuzzman shared the experience of the work over the phone from Sylhet, “Sohel Arman is the worthy son of Amzad Hossain. I really liked his story, style of story telling and as well as, his making ability. So that, taking trouble of coming to Sylhet, I am working in the film. Overall, I am enjoying the work and the environment of Sylhet very much. I believe that ‘Bhramar’ will be a lovable film for the viewers.”
However, ATM Shamsuzzaman will return to Dhaka on March 18 after completing the shooting tomorrow. Earlier, he worked in Habibul Islam’s film ‘Ratrir Jatri’ last time.
On the other hand, ATM Shamsuzzaman is now working in only one drama serial ‘Noashal’, which has been director by actor-director Mir Sabbir. The audience-admired TV serial is being aired on RTV regularly.
To note, ATM Shamsuzzaman has won the National Film Award for five times till now.
