Gaibandha: A couple in love reportedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in Sadullahpur upazila early yesterday, reports UNB. Officer-in-charge of Sadullahpur Police Station Farhad Imrul Kayes said Rostom Ali Khandaker,17, an HSC student and son of Mahir Uddin, and Sultana Akter Mukti,15, a class IX student, both residents of Chhandiapur Fakirpara village of the upazila, wanted to tie the knot but their families did not take give consent to it. Locals found their bodies hanging from the tree early in the morning and informed police.
