Afghanistan beat Hong
Kong

Afghanistan defeated Hong Kong by six wickets in Nagpur yesterday to bag their second straight win in the ICC World T20 qualifier. Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi grabbed four wickets to help his side restrict Hong Kong to a modest 116 for six. They chased down the target in 18 overs after openers Mohammad Shahzad (41) and Noor Ali Zadran (32) shared a solid 70-run stand. Towards the end, the Afghans lost some quick wickets and unnecessarily made the chase a bit difficult. Earlier, during batting, Hong Kong spoiled a promising start and their innings lost way after the openers departed. The win takes Afghanistan to face Zimbabwe in a Group B decider to make the
Super 10s.
