Some members of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) in Moheshpur upazila attacked and injured upazila unit BNP secretary Mominur Rahman yesterday morning. The BNP leader is now undergoing treatment at Moheshpur upazila health complex. Sources said Mominur came under attack by the aggrieved JCD activists, who were not inducted in the new committee formed recently.Moheshpur upazila unit BNP president Abdul Ahad said a group of unruly activists of the JCD swooped on the upazila secretary with sticks without any provocation, which was unfortunate. Local leaders of the party visited the leader at the upazila health complex.  Officer-in-Charge of Moheshpur police station Aminul Islam Biplab said he was informed about the matter.
