GAIBANDHA: A mobile court in separate drives realized Tk 39,000 as fine from different restaurants in the town for selling stale, adulterated and date-expired food items to the customers yesterday, reports BSS. The court, led by Executive Magistrate Magfurul Hassan Abbasi, conducted the raids at different hotels, restaurants and confectionary at DB Road in the town yesterday afternoon. The court filed six cases against the owners of the business establishments for selling the stale, adulterated and date-expired food items including rice wrapped with poly bags to the customers violating the rule. Later, the cases against the owners of the business organizations and establishments were settled by realizing the fine money from them instantly.
