‘Laalchar’–the directorial debut film of popular TV actor-director Nader Chowdhury is set to be released soon. DhakaLive has news about Nader Chowdhury’s latest venture that the shooting of the film has already been completed recently and is expected to see its release on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha this year. Based on the novel ‘Nadi Uppakhan’by Imdadul Huq Milon, the government-grant film is co-produced by Impress Telefilm and stars Mohona Mustafa Mim, Jhuna Chowdhury, Masum Aziz, Sabiha Aziz, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rafikullah Selim, Anisur Rahman Milon, Kazi Shila among others. The music direction of the film is done by Farid Ahmed.
Currently the crew is busy with the dubbing portion of the film. Actress Mohana Mustafa, who is the lead heroine in the film, is currently in India for her studies and as soon as she returns to the country for her vacation, the entire dubbing work of the film will be completed.
Nader Chowdhury said about the film, “Since this is my first directorial film, there has been absolutely no compromise. I expect that the film will certainly influence the viewers to go to the hall. The film’s story is built upon a strong foundation and I believe it will create a spark in the viewers’ minds.”
Besides, Nader Chowdhury yesterday started the directorial work for the tele-film ‘Breakup Er Por’, written by Harun Ur Rashid. The shooting of the tele-film is currently taking place at a shooting house in the capital’s Gulshan area, in which Nader Chowdhury’s son Hridoy will be appearing.
To note, Nader Chowdhury directed a four-episode drama serial titled ‘Patro Lekhok’ for the first time. He latest directed tele-drama was ‘Ansar Ali Tokar’. l
