Bangladesh women’s cricket team will play their final preparation match at home today under floodlight at Fatullah Stadium before leaving for India March 8 to play in ICC World T20.
Prior to flying for India, the eves team have been practicing under floodlight at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOAS) in Fatullah since March 2.
Head coach Janak Gamage said, “Before starting their WorldT20 campaign Bangladesh women team will play two warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and Ireland on March 10 and 12 respectively to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium (MCS), Bangalore.
Bangladesh will face-off the host India in the opener of the ICC Women’s World T20 2016 at the MCS on March 15.
Thereafter, they will take on England in the second match of the Group-B encounter at the same venue on March 17.
The team will lock horns with West Indies at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai on March 20.
They will play their fourth and last Group-B match against Pakistan at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi on March 24.
