The semi-final round of season three of ‘Mangolee Channel i Sera Nachiye’, the only dance reality show in the country, is going to begin. The semi-final round of the competition will now see 15 contestants battling for a place in the final by performing not only in front of eminent dance directors of the country, but also in front of several reputable dance choreographers from USA, Russia and India. DhakaLive has news that to provide further information regarding the competition, a press conference was held yesterday at the Channel i premises. Channel i managing director Faridur Reza Sagar, chairman and managing director of sponsor company AST Beverage Ltd and member of Globe Pharmaceuticals Group of Companies Mohammad Harunur Rashid were present during the press conference, along with the main judge of the competition Munmun Ahmed, National Film Award-winning actor Ferdous and actress-director Meher Afroz Shaon, planner and director of the competition Izaz Khan Swapan and 15 contestants of the show.
The 15 participants that have made it through to the semi-final round of the competition are Sinthia, Shova, Hridi, Antor, Apurba, Miti, Sumaiya, Sumi, Riya, Prapti, Dola, Lotus, Iccha, Athoi and Alif. To note, in a span of three months, 245 dance contestants have been selected from 45,000 candidates from seven divisions. The grooming and training of these 245 participants have been taken over by several eminent dance exponents such as Kathleen Wates, Dolly Iqbal, Sharmilla Bondopadhay, Dipa Khandakar, Sultana Haider,  Nilufar Wahid Papri, Anisual Islam Hira, Minu Huq, Saju Ahmed, Selina Huq,Tamanna Rahman, Belayet Hussain Khan, Shafikur Rahman, Benazir Salam, Tabassum Ahmed, Mamun Ahmed, Tanzil Alam, among others.  
Afterwards, 100 contestants were selected for the ‘Grand Audition’, which began with judges Munmum Ahmed, Ferdous and Shaon. Then 34 individuals were selected and from several rounds of performances and judged by guest judges as well as the main judges, the elimination rounds resulted in 24 participants selected for the camp round. From there, the aforementioned 15 have been selected for the semi final round.
Several eminent personalities from the cultural and entertainment field will be seen in the episodes during the semi-final round such as audience-admired actor Riaz, actress Nipun, along with other popular names such as Purnima, Sadia Islam Mou, Aupee Karim, Mehzabein, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, among others. The final round, possibly to start from May 6, will see seven contestants battle it out for the ‘Mangolee Channel i Sera Nachiye’ crown.  The winners will receive grand prizes such as a car and an opportunity to be model and act for films, tele-dramas and telefilms under the banner of Impress Telefilm. ‘Mangolee Channel i Sera Nachiye’ is being aired on Channel i every Tuesday and Friday at 7:50pm.
