The rise of Bangladesh pacers

The rise of Bangladesh fast bowlers is now talk of the cricket world. The way the Bangladesh pace bowlers demolished the high standard batting line up earned a worldwide praise from the cricket greats. Sri Lanka T20 captain Lasith Malinga was the latest to join in heaping praise on Bangladesh fast bowlers.
“Once Bangladesh were used to come up with two or three spinners, now they are coming with four fast bowlers. Watching four fast bowlers bowling in the sub-continent is something rare but amazing,” said Malinga.
“They have been playing really well. It’s amazing to see the rise of the Bangladeshi fast bowlers. It’s in fact good to see pacers doing well in any part of the world. Bangladesh’s pacers prospect however is bright,” added Malinga.
Since the inclusion of left arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, Bangladesh pace bowling got its mozo. Mustafizur has already branded as one of the best fast bowlers in the business at the moment for his menacing cutter and slower.
While Mustafizur’s cutter earned him the respect, another teen-age fast bowler Taskin Ahmed showed his capability to bounce out the team with searing bouncer. Another fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain though is underrated, gave the side crucial breakthroughs at crucial moment while the ever green Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been in the lead.
While Mahmudullah Riyad played a crucial 22 not out to sail the side home against Pakistan, it was the spell of fast bowler Taskin Ahmed who terrorized Pakistani top order with a searing first spell that read 3-1-2-1. He later finished with a figure of 4-1-14-1 after conceding 12 runs in his last bowler.
But the most intriguing aspect of this Bangladesh bowling line up the bowlers didn’t concede any extra run during the game against Pakistan. It’s a rare incident in limited over cricket, if not unique.
However after a crucial victory which propelled them to the final of Asia Cup, the Bangladesh players took a day off and went to their home to enjoy the time with family members. Those who haven’t any home in Dhaka, stayed in the hotel room. The players will get back to their business today and will take the preparation for the final match against India.
