Mass Effect: Andromeda

Mass Effect: Andromeda is the next installment to the famous Mass Effect franchise. It is currently under development and will take place after the events of Mass Effect 3. It will feature a new protagonist rather than Commander Shepard from the first three games. It was first revealed in E3 2014 and no gameplay footage has been shown yet. It will be released near the end of this year unless delayed.

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XV is the next gen Final Fantasy we have all been waiting for. It features new combat mechanics rather than the old and monotonous turn based action. The visuals are promising and it seems to take place in a modern world. The game was initially supposed to be released on PlayStation 3 but now has been confirmed to be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year, the date has not been specified.

Doom

Doom (previously known as Doom 4) is the next long awaited installment to the popular series from id Software. For many of was, Doom was a part of our childhood, and now Doom is seeing its reboot with promising gameplay and graphics. Released videos show very impressive gameplay making it one of the most anticipated games of this year. It is set to release on May 13, 2016.

Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3 is the upcoming installment of the Souls series. Not much needs to be said about Dark Souls 3, it will feature the same gameplay from its ancestors but with plenty of tweaks. It will feature upgraded visuals and faster combat. As usual Dark Souls, 3 will test the layer’s wits and patience. It might just be the last Souls game marking an end to the series, it hasn’t been officially announced yet, though. The release date is set for April 11, 2016.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 was first revealed very long ago in 2012 and its trail went cold until the release of Witcher 3. Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a futuristic world and is currently under development by CD Projekt. It will be much bigger than Witcher 3 and will be much more interactive. Its release date has not been announced yet.
