Eminent Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan is going to act in celebrated Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s new film titled ‘Doob’ (English title ‘No Bed of Roses’). Farooki has confirmed the news through a status posted on his verified Facebook account at Monday midnight. Farooki also informed that besides playing a role in the film, Irrfan Khan will also join his hand with the film as a co-producer. Talented Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha will also act alongside Irrfan in the film. Apart from the presence of Irrfan and Tisha, Parno Mitra, Rokeya Prachi, Bratya Basu and Nader Chowdhury, among others, will act in the film. Farooki wrote in his statues on Facebook, “Those who are very close to me, they guessed correctly that an arrangement for something big underway. Irrfan Khan is working in my next film ‘Doob’.” He wrote about the secret preparation of the film, “How tough it is to take preparation secretly, I felt the pinch during last few months. Finally, I am free from ‘press embargo’. Now I can speak about my film without any restraint.’ “Irrfan Khan is one of my favourite actors. I am grateful to him for loving me”, Farooki wrote about Irrfan Khan. The film will be produced jointly by Bangladesh’s Jazz Multimedia and Eskay Movies of India. The shooting of the film is likely to begin from the middle of March, Farooki informed.
To note, Farooki-directed last film was ‘Piprabidya’, where Indian actress Sheena Chohan played a lead role.
