With the call to roar like March 7 during the days of disasters across the country, the Centre for Research and Information, the secretariat of Young Bangla, is going to bring the youth focused, first of its kind in the country, Joy Bangla Concert back this year, reports BSS. To be held at the Army Stadium in the capital, in observance of that historic day, between 4pm and 11pm, the mega concert will see the seven leading bands of the country ---Warfaze, Shironamhin, Arbovirus, Lalaon, Cryptic Fate, Nemesis and Shunno ---appearing on the stage to enthrall the crowd. Besides, there will be telecast of the historic speech and the ambience of 7 March, 1971 will be recreated through the performance of a group of artistes, according to Tonmoy Ahmed, assistant coordinator of CRI. The much awaited rock concert seeks to inspire the youth of today through the words of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's historical 7 March, 1971 speech. In his historic speech, the great man spoke about equality, justice and standing up for what one believes in notwithstanding the odds against. The concert seeks to imbue the youths of the country with that timeless message using the universal mediums of music, culture and arts. Similar to last year, the free registration for getting hold of the tickets began on February 28 and will continue till March 6, the last day before the concert.
