Multi-award winning Indian film actor-director-screenwriter-producer-actor-playback singer-lyricist and television host Farhan Akhtar is coming to Dhaka to perform in an event titled ‘Farhan Live’. Organised by Blues Communications, the event has been scheduled to be held at Basundhara International Convention City (Nabaratri Hall) in the capital on March 31. CEO of Blues Conmmunication Farhadul Islam said, “This is going to be a completely international event. Farhan Akhtar will solely perform at the event and we believe that it will be a grand performance. The standard of the stage show will not be any different from the shows that he performs in. He will be arriving in Dhaka on the day of the event with 20-member team. He is scheduled to leave the next afternoon.” To note, Farhan Akhtar was born to screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani in Mumbai and is the brother of writer–director Zoya Akhtar. He made his writing and directorial debut with the critically-acclaimed film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001). He has been involved in various films as actor, director, and producer. Over the span of his career, his works have earned him multitude awards such as the National Film Award, Filmfare and Stardust Awards, International Indian Film Academy Awards, IIFA Awards, Asian Film Award, Zee Cine Award, Star Guild Awards and much more.
