Pakistan’s reactions
unexpected: Minister

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali yesterday said there were unexpected reactions from Pakistan regarding the execution of convicted persons for their crimes against humanity during the Liberation War of 1971, reports UNB. He also said some international organisations, being influenced by continuous propaganda carried out by the anti-liberation force, issued biased and one-sided statements about the war crimes trial in different times. "And this is not acceptable at all," the minister said while responding to a tabled starred question from Awami League MP M Israfil Alam (Naogaon-6) in the House.  Mahmood Ali said the government's stance is firm and clear about war crimes trial, establishing good governance and stopping the culture of impunity. The Foreign Affairs Ministry always gives time-befitting answers to those negative propaganda, he said, adding that they have strongly warned those organisations that Bangladesh will never tolerate such statements and propaganda. He said his ministry also advised those organisations to remain careful in giving statements on the internal affairs of Bangladesh in the future.
